Articles submitted in English (up to a 10-page limit) must comply with the Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies book series format (see Instructions for authors on the Springer website). Articles submitted in Spanish or Portuguese (up to a maximum of 14 pages) must comply with the Tirant lo Blanch format. In both cases, they must not have been previously published or be under review for any other conference or publication, and they cannot include any information that may lead to the identification of the authors. Therefore, the names of the authors, affiliations and e-mails must not be included in the version for evaluation by the Scientific Committee. This information should only be included in the final version of the accepted articles, which must be saved in a Word file. Such files must be uploaded to the conference management system in a ZIP file.

After the Scientific Committee’s evaluation, articles will either be rejected or accepted. Should an article be accepted, it may or may not need to be modified slightly.  If so, the authors must modify accordingly before sending the final version.

Once they have been approved for publication in the Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies series, articles in English must be accompanied by a publication consent.

Authors of accepted papers will have 15 minutes to present their work in a Conference Work Session and approximately 5 minutes of discussion will follow each presentation.
